12th Annual Big Sky Antique and Classic Boat Show August 4-6, 2017

BOAT SHOW ACTIVITIES AND GENERAL INFORMATION
Boat Show Reception:
On Friday, August 4th at 6 p.m. the Big Sky Chapter will host a welcoming reception at the Classic Company Boat Works in the village of Somers, MT. Once again our host Steve Nickol, Big Sky member and owner will be rolling out a display of antique boats, plus providing an evening of “get down” blue grass music. Please check the Registration and Reservation Section on the registration form
if you plan to attend, and include the number of guests you will be bringing.
Boat Show Opening Day:
On Saturday morning August 5th we request that participants have their boats in the slips by 10 a.m. for the start of the show.
Boat Show Dinner:
Join us Saturday evening at the Flathead Lake Lodge, a legendary Montana dude ranch, for cocktails and dinner. The evening cocktail and dinner event is shaping up to be a memorable event for participants in the Boat Show. The event opens for cocktails at 6:00 PM and dinner promptly at 7:00 PM. Please be on time.
Transportation (for those who need it) will be provided, either by boat or vehicle, between Marina Cay and the Flathead Lake Lodge and back.
Again, please let us know if you will be attending, and include the number of your guests.
Sunday Boat Parade & Closing Day:
On Sunday, August 6th a Boat Parade along Flathead Lake East shoreline from Marina Cay to Woods Bay is planned for registered boats at 12:30pm. Full details of this event will be covered during the Friday night reception. For those boats not participating in the Boat Parade please be back in your slip by 10:00am. The Show will conclude at 4:00 pm for another year.
Boat Show Launch Ramp & Trailer Parking:
The boat launch ramp is located just across from the Marina Cay Marina. Please refer to the attached map
for directions and trailer parking information. Marina Cay will welcome boats on Friday, August 5th for those skippers who would like to dock early.
For out of town participants, Steve Nickol at Classic Company Boat Works will also provide inside storage Friday night for your boat and trailer.
Boat Launching and Docking Assistance:
On Saturday morning from 8:30am to 10:00am there will be Big Sky Chapter Members to assist you in launching your boat at the Bigfork launch ramp. For those having trouble starting boats, we are planning to have Personal Water Craft for tow service at the launch ramp. There will be a full crew on the docks to help land your boat.
Public Boat Show Times:
Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm, and Sunday 9:00am to 12:00pm.
